Air Layer a Eucalyptus?

Hey guys,

Sorry... probably a very simple and nooby question. I was just wondering if its possible to air layer a Eucalyptus (Erythrocorys)? I've read that cuttings are extrememly hard on a lot of Eucs, but I can't find anything on air layers.

I have one potted up but am not really liking it as the trunk is quite uninteresting (straight with no low branches), so I was thinking of just using the top section.... but have no idea if that is even possible?

Don't have a pic handy... but the tree is basically in "Y" shape, tall and skinny. I got it before I knew anything about bonsai, and am trying to make something of it... if I can lol

Again, sorry for such a simple question, but I really appriciate any answers :)
