For sale today is a small Japanese black pine. Looking a little unruley because it is in the middle of its seccond flush of growth before the new needles have formed or the old needles have been plucked.

Currently has a sacrifice branch on the lower trunk. Its pretty much thick enough to remove now although if you wanted an even thicker base or a apex over this section you could leave it/ grow it some more.

Should you cut it off you would have an exhibitable JBP shohin. Something that is difficult to find in Australia. Root work already done and already in a small bonsai container.

The tree with the sacrifice digitally removed.

As you can see it is well on its way to being much like some of the shohin exhibited at the recient Nolanders trophy. See examples below for style inspiration.

If you would like to own this tree all you need to do is PM me. Price is $350 firm. I can most probably ship to most places in Australia at buyers risk/ expense. That said, the buyer will be responsible for any quarentine certificates/ requirements for you state should you need them.
