(Silent Auction) European larch

Hi all,
This tree will be sold for fund raising purposes at the coming AABC Canberra Convention, by way of a "Silent Auction".
It was donated to the NBPCA for this purpose by Lynne Farrell of Launceston and is 38 years old.
It is a Larix decidua or European larch. It is a cold climate tree and will not survive in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth etc but does well in Canberra and Melbourne for instance. It really does need a cold winter so the potential buyer will need to demonstrate that they live in an area where the tree will thrive.
A "Silent Auction" is an auction where people write their bids onto a form in front of the tree; there will be a minimum intial bid (probably $300) and then every bid after that would be in increments of say minimum $10. The Auction will close on the afternoon of the first full day, the Saturday and the successful bidder must be there to pick up the tree and pay for it. All proceeds go to the NBPCA for its Bonsai Trust Fund for special projects within the NBPCA.
It is in good health, was repotted in 2012 and one of its habits is that it goes deciduous early in Autumn. It needs some restyling as a number of small branches on what is the "back" have died and have been removed by myself.
It will not be sold prior to the Convention and will only be sold at the Convention.
Height is 46cm including the pot; unglazed brown, possibly Japanese.
