WBG @ Japan Festival 2013

The Japan Festival is just around the corner, so if you're interested in Japanese arts, culture, food and activities, I'm told this is one festival you CAN'T MISS!

Waverley Bonsai Group is once again proud to have our bonsai on display. So if you're coming along, be sure to drop by our display, say :gday: (love to have a chat :whistle: ), and have a look at some of our members' beautiful bonsai.

Sunday 19 May 2013 from 10:00am - 5:00pm (Door Open 9:30am)

Box Hill Town Hall & Box Hill TAFE
1000-1022 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill (Melway:47D9)

General Public: $5.00 (Full fee for Kimono/Yukata wearers)
Free Entry : Children up to Grade 6; Disabled persons (+ 1 attendant) & Seniors Card Holders

Although we couldn't put in a reminder for obvious reasons :whistle: ... Yesterday was a great day, Waverley Bonsai Group was there with our own room displaying a variety of bonsai. The Ikabana next door was also quite spectacular :tu: Hundreds of people made there way through, and hopefully we have inspired a few of them to get involved. It was great to get the public through to see and talk about what bonsai is. Hopefully some of you made along :fc: :wave:
