Hi K,
I don't see that living out of NSW is a problem. i just posted a sumo fig to S.A. which was sold through this forum, with no problem.
If you're happy with the price, ask them how they pack and make a bid.
cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave.
I know there a are no laws restricting the postage of this tree but in the ebay listing the seller has specified that it is local pickup only (no postage).
Good luck to anyone who does bid on it though

Hi loopozzie,
When I was tutoring, I always asked what it was about a tree or material, that made someone want to buy it. In other words what made you say that you had to have it?
I'd be interested in your thoughts on this particular material.

Gday Ken, i won the tree in the first picture, picking it up on saturday . the auction didnt have any size info
but will put a empty bottle(i dont drink cans) next to it for u with some measurements .
Dave, in responce to your question, the base. after buying that sumo off you and reading your cd and post on
''figs, base's and trunks''i thought this would be a great candidate to try your suggestions out on.
i will put some better pics up asap. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Dave.

Hi Strawbs,
I think that was a good buy at $56, regardless of its dimensions. It has great taper and ratios. Will definately make a nice tree
cheers

Strawbs I was at $55 on that one before you sniped me

Although I was in Sydney I was not looking forward to traveling down the coast to pick it up before I came home so I am glad you got it enjoy.

I definitely agree. What drew me to the tree was the taper
