JRP experimental bending brace

I used a hard drawn copper flat i had lying around mounted it to the main trunk with stainless screws.
Attached an anchor in the same manner near the top.
Then mounted a 5mm stainless turnbuckle between the two.
It seems to work so far, i just installed it today.
What do you guys think?
