Hey everyone,

Currently have an established plum and trident maple. Just wondering if they are ok to repot now? And if not, when? I think the maple is quite pot bound. Any help would be appreciated.

I would hold back for about 2 months early spring before bud burst would be perfect

I agree. Let them both go dormant before repotting then you can go quite hard and do a really good job. I repot deciduous trees any time from July through to bud burst.
If they have not been repotted for a while they will likely need quite a bit of root removed to get them back on track.
