strange yellow spots and wilt on nz christmas bush

hey everyone :wave:

my nz christmas bush isnt looking too good it is deforming the new growth and has red and yellow spots on the foliage
the yellow spots are like dust and when i rub it the dust comes off onto my fingers

any ideas :?:

Sounds suspiciously like myrtle rust, we get it a little bit up here, and your plant is a good candidate for it. Early stages yet I think. Check out this link:

I would go with myrtle rust it has just arrived at home . If you go to the gov website it gives afew fungicides you can use good luck

Myrtle rust :!: Another exotic (imported) disease that we have only had for the last few years :tounge:
And next time anyone thinks about illegal import of seed or plant material remember this is the sort of problem that can come with it. :shake:

i think you are spot on, i want to get this sorted out quick smart!! i just need to get the fungicide and get on top of it
