Hi guys/gals,
I know nothing about the different pot makers and tend to just go for what I like. I picked up 2 pots recently from this manufacturer. Just wondering who it was? No doubt mass produced as they were not expensive. I like them though

No expert myself, but what does the rest of the pot look like?

Here is the two of them. Both are oval shape. 1st one is home to my bux for a while (I may put it back in the ground for more thickness.


Second is the future pot for a maple.

I did have a search and found that site. It was awesome has heaps of different marks on it and I too agreed that one was probably the one. I wasn't sure where to find the names of the makers of the pots though? There are no labels on alot of them.

First, let me say I don't know anything about Japanese characters.

When comparing the Seal that Brett found I noticed something interesting. The larger Seal appears to be exactly the same, but the smaller Seal has different characters. I wonder what that means. It would be fascinating to have the two Seals transcribed by someone who knows Japanese.

I am a teacher by day and so got one of my senior students (chinese background) to have a look at it. Turns out it is chinese not Japanese. The square part refers to a place (she said a temple or similar) and the characters in oval refer to a person. She was going to do a little investigating for me so we will see.
