One of my pots

This photo was taken at the Floral Festival last September. The Central Coast Club had a great display there and, of course, I have a couple of photos. The tree was worked on by Kobayashi at the Festival two years ago and is owned by Ashley Brown.

Thanks, Antonio. They're all for sale. Too many to post here but If you're interested, let me know and I can post you photos. I make a big range of both formal and informal pots in a range of sizes. I developed the informal range to suit our natives - the pots are supposed to give the impression of rocky outcrops etc.

Gday Penny,

Jus' prowlin' by and found I couldn't enlarge your photos...it may be my old machine or is it that you need to decrease your pixels?

yes spinner you are right. penny depending on the computer they can take an awful long time to load if at all. 500 kb photos are plenty and still too much for some things.

I am able to enlarge them. My computer is old and tempermental (just like me) and I'm not very computer literate - a bad combination at best. If you want a bigger photo, send me a private message and i'll post it to you.

ooohh some of those pits look very nice. do you have any more examples that have trees in them?
Would like to see what a forest would look like in one of those informal pots.

Penny who do you get the texture?
I have restarted pottery that I did in highschool, and am looking to learn more.

Sorry, Asus101, I can't give out my techniques online. These are what make my pots unique. The lichen glaze, for instance, took two years to develop. I hope you can understand. If you join a local potters group, the members will certainly help you.

Hi Ketutg. I'll take some photos of a few I have at home. I don't have any forests planted out. I'll also ask members of my clubs if they can send some photos. This will take a while though.as we have out Christmas Party next meeting. One member bought several and planted them out to use as centre pieces for a wedding breakfast. I'll have to wait for photos of that one.

Hi Penny and all,

I have purchased a single Mudlark pot, and i love it to bits. I also purchased some shallow sauce containers or something for really cheap. I plan on drilling holes into these and using them for accents. They really are great pots.

P.S. Did you ever find your amber ear-ring at the convention i saw you at?

Hi Jayc.
No, I didn't find it and searched all the boxes and went through all the newspaper in the faint hope it might have flicked into one, but it's gone. Don't ruin the little pot, I can make some that size with holes and feet and the glaze on the outside. I have a firing to do soon, I'll make some tomorrow and put them through. What colour would you like? I'm not trying to make you buy, I can have them here as extras. Ray nesci had some for sale. I don't know if he has ant left. Thanks for the compliment about my pot.
Penny.

This is totally understandable Penny, Interlectual property and all that. When it is your business, you must protect it.
