Just found a clip that looks at foreigners interest in Bonsai in Japan. Its from Japanese TV and all in Japanese but it features Taisho-en and has lots of good bonsai shots.

Thanks Jow,
I've recently returned from Japan. I found plenty of bonsai most places we went. Luckily I had some stored images of my bonsai on my camera. This was the perfect ice breaker. Despite not being able to speak Japanese, I had no trouble talking to local bonsaiists. At one function we attended, there was a fellow sitting on our table who spoke excellent English. So I asked him who does bonsai in Japan? His answer - "old people, retirees and eccentrics". Not the answer I expected!
Cheers
