Thanks for posting Gerard,I had a great day today, really enjoyed working on my tree and I'm really happy with the results. Mauro is a great stylist, very patient and attentive to all who participated.
Hope to do another workshop with him one day.

Thanks Marcella,
We are not always sure what to expect from a visiting artist. I was delighted with Mauro's attitude, communication and creativity. I am looking forward to another day of the same tomorrow and expect a very interesting critique session tomorrow night.
If anyone has the chance to see one of his sessions while he is here they should go for it! :tu2:

Thank you BSV for arranging Mauro's workshop today. I really enjoyed observing this one. I was so inspired by the little differences in techniques (eg, adding sparky tape over wet raffia to keep in the moisture) that I came home and finally started to style one of the Japanese Black Pine whips that Don Deluca gave me.

Geoff one of the past presidents of the club, has been absent for a few years until his recent return. I saw some pictures of this tree being workshopped many years ago with Hiro.
This pine remains unidentified after about 30-40 years as a bonsai.
