lets see bonsaibruce..
I drink whiskey. I am a vegetarian. & lived on gold coast for 20 years, still have a bed there. :palm:
Found a hairline crack on the tree one, so I will keep that for myself .
So you can buy 1 of the others , or wait until I do another lot of cascades.
If you had only offered me a Ming Aralia

Lovely crawl glaze on the first one, and I like the way it fades out towards the base. Please post more pots as they come from the kiln.

Gavin

Thought I would post a few more of my pots that will be available at our show
on August 10th & 11th .
We have an enormous display usually well over 100 trees, a very large sales area , plus demonstrators doing what they do best.
Our display is the works of many members, which includes novice, everyone gets to be proud of what they have achieved. :hooray:

see you then joann :fc:

Love your pots, wish I could get down to your show to buy some. Who says we need to go overseas to get good hand made pots, these are as good as any I have seen.
Cheers, jonden

"THE HAND" A few years back I bought a shop manikin, because I wanted to make a papermache body. as a wall feature.
Then when I started making mame pots I made a mold of one of the hands and I press clay into it
. As well I have the palm of the hand that you can sit a plant such as a kokedama ball on.
It helps people to visualize the size of the pot
Hence 'THE HAND" 8-)
made some kokedamas last year with the hands for our show. this year I came up with mountains instead :palm:
Who knows what next year will bring :lost:

Hi Bonsai Nuts!

Waverley this year has two new displays, Minis and Bonsai in a Basket!

A number of our members wanted to show "little" bonsai so we have created a display section just for these gems! Not to be missed!

Our display room features trees from ALL of our members, novice through to master, no judging, just a display of our little green children for you to enjoy!

Then earlier in the year 3 of our members participated in the RHSV hanging basket competition new section "Bonsai in a Basket" this was part of the Melbourne International Flower and Garden show. One of our displays picked up multiple awards!

We have an extensive sales area, Bonsai Art is supplying starters and progressed plants, Gosing Trading has Chinese pots, wire and tools, Club members are offering their own creations, JoAnn will have some of her unique pots on offer.

Over the weekend we will have a number of demonstrations, potting, propagating, styling, etc.

I'll be there, Zyggy.
