Hi all,

Today was a milestone for me having such a wonderful guest at my house talking all things Bonsai.

We worked on this JBP I purchased at the Bonsai exhibit yesterday.

Good evening Mo,

I like the pine both before and after. I like the pot too -- if it is Japanese and unsigned, then I have three similar to yours. ( My father is handling his stuff down to me now. )

-- I did not see any new roots on the repotting photos yet, I think you have picked just about the right time to repot. I have not done my pines yet. Next weekend, might be.

I do not see any locational address on your page :).

Best regards, Mo.

The pine before had great potential and training already, which made it an absolute pleasure to style. The pot is Japanese however does have a signature, very lovely pot first sold in either '82 or '92 - not 100% which one!

Our Winter is apparently similar to Spring in Japan. As such the premise was that provided the tree is protected from temps below 7-8 degrees (kept under cover at night and close to the house), it would be absolutely fine. Hard root pruning at this time probably not a great idea, just because we can have random freezing nights!

Thanks for the kind words mate.

Location is currently non-existant, we worked this tree at my house. ;)
