This is my Port Jackson fig with roots over a very flat upright ironstone "cliff" looks a lot like you see figs around the harbour foreshores.

Here are a few of mine. Some pics a few years old though.

First, because you are the ficusboy a ficus root over rock taken 2007. This one is a lesson in the power of ficus roots. Originally the rock was taller with some holes through it. The roots grew through the holes and as they expanded broke the rock so the best parts are now gone. The roots have now almost completely swamped the rock so it is hard to tell now that this is actually 3 trees on rock.

Trident males make great root over rock bonsai. Here are a couple of the older ones.

Lots more under development but few pics worth posting at this stage.

Been playing with some sandstone slabs lately and here is a recent creation, sorry for the poor background the setting is well over 1 meter long and weighs a TONNE!!! It needs a trim and wire but what are your thoughts so far guy's? :lost:

It looks superb, Shannon. I love the addition of the small rocks and their random spread.
I think with the left trunk on such a lean 'down the hill' I would like to see a few more aerial roots to give it more stability. Looking closely I think i can see a few in the perfect spot? Once these hit soil and thicken a bit, this setting is gold :worship:

Don't have anything to contribute to this thread I'm afraid but I've got a couple of ROR Figs that are buried. Will be lifting this spring to check progress and sort out roots.
