Mugo pine timing

Post by Tony H »

I've read a lot of conflicting information regarding when work can be done on single flush pines, in particular Mugo pines. :reading:
Some say if you have wired/styled you can't re-pot till following year.
Others say do both at the same time in spring
Others re-pot in mid summer only
:lost: :palm: :lost:
Time to cut the crap and ask the experts!

Thanks in advance guys :)

repotting is usually done when the candles have elongated and started to open up which is late September in my area . I would avoid drastic pruning and repotting at the same time.
