Does anybody grow Yew here.

Seems like an intresting tree yet I have not heard of anyone growing it.

japanese plum yew; only had it 3 mths. pruned hard end of autumn is now popping and will repot into poly box in spring. might be shohin or just over.

its now approx 30cm tall by 9 cm wide across the nebari. hope to get foliage and deadwood down to 6 - 8 inches tall.

I have English yew, got it for 15$.

Thanks Antonio I will keep a look out but I do wonder if I need another species of tree that has what seems to be a new set of horticulture techniques to make it prosper.

Got a picture Asus or a size? where did you get it from?

its a few feet tall, about 20 years old, needs a repot.

I'm very interested to see more Yew in Australia as they seem prolific O/S.

its nothing special. I haven't touched it since i got it as I need to repot it.

A 20 year old Yew for $15 doesn't sound like nothing special to me. C'mon Mr one liner givus a pic

It was just an old nursery tree they had hidden behind a tree. I found it walking past the fence on my way to the car. it had no tag no price so she gave it to me for $15. It was near dead, and has gained strength. There is nothing special about it.

I dug an English Yew from a demolition site last summer...Showed no signs of stress after the dig...cut it back hard and it reshot all over the trunk within weeks... Photos to come
