Not Aussie

These pots are not Australian but are very nice as is the bloke who makes them. Sue and I visited him at his home in Maidstone.
His name is Andy Pearson, the potters here might know him as Stonemonkey. So here are some of his trees as well. He only has a few as he is more into pots now. attachment=5]P1040979.JPG[/attachment]

I think his pots have improved since I last saw them on the ibc, not that they wern't nice before but I think them may have just a bit better finish now. He is certainly doing well and had always seemed like a nice fellow. It looks like you had a nice visit.

Yes Aaron I got a couple weight was a problem we had excess so we freight forwarded still cost us a bomb though.
I got a set of 3 given by Craig Coussins from Walsall ceramics very nice. Also some nice shohin pots from Peter. Will take some pics of the spoils.
A couple of scrolls as well as the pots.

.....crap day....overfired the kiln....but it's nice to see Andy's pots which I first saw 8-10 years ago .... he's certainly come a long way since then.
Of course, it's illegal to import them... mad cow disease and all that :twisted:
