Up for sale is this Bougie I'm selling for a mate. I owned this tree for about 7yrs and sold it to said mate 2yrs ago for $350.
I purchased the tree off Pup who inturn acquired it from a deceased estate.
How long Pup had it I'm unsure of but I would estimate it would be no younger than 20-25yrs old.
I'm pretty sure Pup said it was a Pink Pixie...it's leaf size is very small, it's growth habit is extremely compact, and bracts, well, obviously pink It tends to lose alittle foliage during the colder months and this can be seen in these pics. It is however shooting like mad and I expect within the next week or so, will be fully covered again.
My friend new very little about Bonsai, so next to nothing has been done to it in the last 2yrs. However in capable hands, it can be cleaned up and will be a beautiful/show-worthy tree in no time.
Seeing as I'm selling it on behalf of a friend I have no say in the selling price. Having said that he wants $400 FIRM but I believe this to still be a good/fair price.
