Is anyone on here associated with the Northern District Bonsai Club, here in Adelaide? If so where and when do they meet etc.
As much as I'd love to get involved with the SA Bonsai Society, I'm out the other side of town. Attending their meetings is difficult and there isn't many other club options in Adelaide that I'm aware of.

I've been looking into the different clubs around Aus, so have them handy, this was one of the tougher ones to find anything on

Its tough, because one site will contradict another
This seems to be the most recent one I can find:
Meetings (7-9pm)
Tea Tree Gully-On the fourth Tuesday in the month
At St John’s Lutheran church. 182 Hancock Road, Ridgehaven.
Workshops (11-4pm)
On the Saturday before the fourth Tuesday in the month.
Held at the Bonsai Tree Gardens, 144 Seaview Road, Yatala Vale
And some contact details:
President Bill Viant 82899710
Email:
wagjan@picknowl.com.au
Vice President Stephen Lloyd 82830309
Secretary David Sweet 0429452014
Email:
beyond.words@iinet.net.au
And am not sure if you know about the rest in SA... but I'll list them for ya anyway. If you want anymore info on the ones below, just give me a yell (I've kept the SA Bonsai Society out of the list for you)
SOUTHERN BONSAI CLUB INC
Morphett Vale, SA 5162
MT GAMBIER BONSAI SOCIETY INC
Mount Gambier SA 5290
NARACOORTE BONSAI CLUB
Naracoorte SA 5271

I've just joined the Northern Districts Bonsai club myself. They meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at the Bonsai Tree Gardens nursery on Seaview Rd, Yatala Vale. The next one is Sunday week (27th) and it's on from 11-3. Just bring a bonsai and get helpful advice from the more experienced members! Cost is $25 per year.

Bek is it a big club? I can't imagine they have many members considering there's not a lot of information around about them.

To be honest I don't know yet, I literally only joined last weekend and most of the members were off at the Annual Show in Goodwood. It's not as big as the one that meets on Goodwood Rd. They do have Christmas parties and stuff, I'm told, so I'm guessing there's a fair amount of members. I'll find out more next weekend!

Thanks Bek, let me know how you go there.
Even if its not as big shouldn't matter. Sounds like it would be more convenient going there than Goodwood.
