It is about 32 years old from a cutting.
Should be pretty self explanatory.
Feel free to comment, negative or positive.
Enjoy.

Hi Tambrand,
That is great! There are Gmelina native here in Australia too - I wonder if anyone has ever tried them out as bonsai here? I like the shape of your tree but would plant it into a larger, or rather wider, pot as it looks like it is mounding up out of this one!
Thanks for posting
Ash

What a lovely tree Tambrand
How come there is a hole in the canopy on the right hand side?
Ether the second branch on that side needs to fill it, or you need to bring the outside growth on that side back in to match.
Combination of both would be the best
I have never seen any in OZ myself, but maybe there should be judging by this one

Ash,Ken,
here is an older picture with foliage, but this is not the full design. The design of this tree was based on a drawing which I can place in a later e-mail.[ I have to flat bed scan .]
Yes, I am looking for a better pot, suggestions ?
The Chinese call this the - Indoor Maple -, and this shrub may have originated in South China, spread by I suspect the British through the Commonwealth.
Very easy to grow and train.
Thanks for looking.
