Hi Meagi, what colour and what shape, it might mean that you have more bites. I have some will post the tomorrow, but I am in WA so postage is up to you.
That can be worked as you might not like what I have to offer.

Cheers Pup

Find a picture of something that resembles what you are after and contact Yorozuen in Saitama: http://www.yorozuen.jp/indexE.htm

The prices are reasonable and they'll have what you want, shipping is cheap too, particularly on 1 pot. I have bought 20+ pots from them and all have turned up fine.

Hi Meagi,

Oh how I wish people would look at Aussie potters more instead of buying overseas .
we have so many good potters in this country. :tu: :tu:
plenty of them belong to this site.

Even though cascade pots are a pain to make , when doing them without a mold .
I have just finish 4 new ones , all are much to big for you.

If you are looking for a wheel made round one then there is bound to be a local potters who can make it for you.
when you say japanese like , do you mean glazed with art work or unglazed ?
knowing that , will help me to suggest who maybe able to help you .

I know I buy Japanese pots because I cannot find the same product made by an Australian potter, particularly old unglazed pots.

I have a number of Aussie potter's pots, but some are not what I am after.

Hi Meagi,
Anything can be made. I've just recently made a couple of 100 x100 and 90 x 90 glazed cascade pots. Different size is no problem. The questions are all about the detail of the design, everything is possible and then colour, glazed or unglazed.
PM the details if you like.
Happy Potter

Thanks everyone for the over whelming response. I am really not to sure what I am after as my experience with pot choices is limited. I usually take the tree with me when I look for pots and match them up with help from the nursery owner. I have bought Tokoname pots in the past with great success only failure was the size ( bit to large) but tree will grow in to it (elms like space I have found anyhow). I really like the beginning of this tree purchased from a fellow member here and is well in its way to a nice cascade I think.

If I leave the wire on it a let it swallow it ( grow over the top like pines) will the rough old age look work on crabapples? Below is a pic of tree in question so post away your pots that you think may suit i'd like a bit larger pot to help with growing a thicker trunk and looking good at the same time.
I turned a make shift wooden crate upside down with a hole cut in it to place pot in so it don't get tipped over by the wind!!
