Hi Guys

Firstly I live in Brisbane therefore my chinese elm are semi deciduous or have leaves all year round. What im wanting to know is it advisable to completely defoliate the tree now? will it hurt the tree? Im hoping in doing this I will get a bigger flush of growth in the growing season. Its approx 11 years old and very healthy, though only a medium sized tree.
