What a monster! A very amazing tree, you wouldn't think it was that big just from looking at it on its own

A great day was had Ric, Beazo and I had a blast. It was fantastic to see how large trees get repotted, let alone help out in the procress. Those two figs are pretty special. I could imagine that with the rain we have had since they would have already put on growth haha. I can't wait to see them in a season or two.
Cheers
David
EDIT: A couple of pics to add.

*Crane has been brought into the attack, thankfully the deluge had just stopped prior to this.

Wow, some amazing trees to be seen here; both the figs being re-potted and the trees seen in the background as well.
I would like to ask is this a commercial bonsai nursery, or the backyard of a super enthusiastic amateur?

Seeing the work that goes into repotting these is a good promotion for Shohin Ric
Nice trees and good use of the reciprocating saw too.
Thanks for posting your adventure!

Steven

Just a tiny Sydney backyard belonging to a long standing bonsai maniac.

I don't know if it is a fused trunk but it is pretty high voltage

some of these OS bonsai certainly get the cogs working on ideas for making huge improvements using a few horticultural techniques. Figs are so easy to collect. Mine were collected all within a few metres of the old Port Jackson itself.
