Variegated N.Z Christmas Bush

This is a Metrosideros Tomentosa Variegata that was thrown out from the local hardware along with plenty of other material . I would never have purchased one of these as working material , but when its free its meant to be . I slipped it a while ago and waited for some movement .
With no flowers and new buds appearing i have decided to hack it back a little and try to guide the new growth into line with a design i have in mind . It will be a 3 or 5 multi trunk tree when finished so now it can burst into life , then it will be wired to shape and give me a little more to work with .
