Torsulosa attempt at the natural look

I have had this Torsulosa for some years without any idea of direction. As the trunk is relatively straight I thought I might try a "natural"style. So today I have roughly wired and tried to invoke the long sweeping branches of a Casuarina. This has given it some direction weather it be right or wrong.

Regards,

Peter

Thats the way to go! You can then utilise its natural habit to droop its foliage.

very nice and a pleasant offset placement in the pot. Excellent.

Very nice Peter, particularly the contrast between rugged bark and soft, whispy foliage.
I too would like to attempt a natural style, the branches I tend to see have extreme arching bends and complete changes of direction. To pull it off I would be thinking something around the 70-100cm high mark.
One day...

For now, im content to watch yours :tu: What are the dimensions, by the way?

Update. I have done some work on this recently. Not there yet with the folige and I will have to change the pot to a lager more masculine one ( around 50cm).
