Hello Everyone,
Just thought I would put this up and start a progression on this tree. I am not usually one to put things out there for critique but please feel free to offer your thoughts on were this tree is/should be going.
This is for you Mo! I hope you don't mind where I am taking this tree?
Below is tree as purchased recently. After much thought and consideration I wanted to make a smaller tree out of this one so I got stuck into it!

Below is tree after trunk chop, de-candling and a little wire.

Hey mate.
From the view shown I think either a smaller or larger tree is your two options.
So the smaller op is ok however you now have a tree with little foliage.
So let it grow and recover for a while to taper a little and fill out your plan.

Hi mate,
No worries haha the trees yours to do with what you please!
I'm quite intrigued to see where this will go! It's still waiting on its second flush of growth which will hopefully help it recover, just make sure it gets good ferts between now and then!!
How are the rest going??
Regards,
-Mo

PS, glad you kept the sacrifice towards the base, let that run coz they're so hard to grow as all the energy often goes to higher branches. Having the sacrifice down low will aid greatly in taper as it thickens everything below it.

Hi Mo,
The littlies are settling in well. Have styled a few to stay as shohin and have selected others to grow on into bigger trees.
The above shown tree is going well with the second flush beginning and is looking quite healthy and as Boics mentioned I will just let it grow and fill out. Am probably going in the direction of a semi cascade but will see what happens with backbudding and further options.
