G'day,

I'm please to announce the details for the AusBonsai Community Market Day.
For sale on the day will be old bonsai collections including some very high quality trees at realistic prices, pot collections, stands, pre-bonsai, starter stock, suiseki and MORE.

Date: Saturday 8th March 2014
Time: 10:00am to 2:00pm (no buyers will be permitted into the sales area prior to 10am)
Where: Auburn Community Picnic Area: Killeen Street, Auburn (400 mtrs from Auburn Japanese Garden) Google Map Link

Parking for over 70 vehicles is available immediately adjacent to the undercover venue.
Bathroom facilities are available for all.

Spaces are limited so if you would like to register your interest please contact steven@ausbonsai.com.au for details, costs and to secure your place.
Sellers will be able to drive right up to the sale area for easy unloading etc.
Lunch will be provided for sellers on the day.

I'd really appreciate if you could share the details with your Clubs and get the info into some newsletters etc. If this Market Day is successful for all concerned we will hold it as an annual event and possibly even have one in each state across Australia.

No, you only need to book if you are a seller due to limited spaces.

Steven will sellers be able to upload photos here for interstaters who may be able to have a buyer onsite on the day ?

I too would like photos of the high quality bonsai if possible

Or you could book a ticket and come for the day I know of several interstaters who are coming. Qld, ACT, VIC will all be represented

Works out perfect for me, heading to Sydney that day for a birthday party so just leave a little earlier & stop off at the market. Great stuff!!

If photos are going to be posted of items here will the sellers agree not to see anything prior to the market day ? Obviously that would defeat the purpose of having a market day if lots of items were sold beforehand.

I've just gotten back from a meeting at the venue with Council and I'm excited

So far we have 9 sales tables booked and I'm waiting on confirmation from another 4. It's looking to be a great event.
