Finished Repotting Decidious trees in Melbourne

I hope all Melbournians have repotted all their decidious tress by now as this winter hasn't really been very cold. Some of my decidious trees have started to move(leaf out) and I live in a slightly more colder area of Melbourne too. Its great being able to repot really quickly though and I put that down to experience and being prepared. Always have your soil mixed and ready is probably the key to efficient repotting. I think we probably have one or two more weekend before the majority of decidious trees would start to leaf. I still have trees in the ground I want to lift this year and hoping they will wait until this weekend.

Hows everyone else going?

David

Sorry mate, no photos as was working like crazy to get them all done in the few hours I had free on the weekend. You must remember what it was like to have two little girls under 4 wanting to spend time with their daddy on the weekend!!! Hoping to have more photos one day as I spend a bit more time working on wiring and shaping them.

Yep, all my deciduous have been repotted, and I'm in a colder area also. I finished a trident maple forest on the weekend that I've been planning for about six months now, my first real attempt at a forest and I'm pretty proud. :D If it survives the brutal treatment I had to give the roots I'll post a pic for criticism.

Of course there's no point in copping a flogging criticism wise if the object being criticised happens to die. ;)
