How to get there

I am coming to Sydney in a couple of weeks and need to know the easiest way to get to Ray Nesci's. I will not have a car so will rely in public transport as much as I can.
I emailed them direct but did not get a response so I guess they don't answer emails much. Is there a train that stops nearby ?
I am also planning a trip to Bonsai South and am aware that the bus stops right across the road as I made this trip last year when there and the trains were out for the day.
Any advise would be appreciated.

Mate, you don't go to Ray's by bus. His nursery is over an hour from central Sydney and I can't imagine a bus route near it. With Bonsai South you would be best to train to Caringbah and taxi from there. If you rent a car be sure to get a GPS device and remember when you are driving in Sydney it is The Quick or the Dead... we adopt the 'Take No Prisoners' style of driving.

Yep I know the method and style of driving Sydney has (Adelaide is similar these days despite our size) Train was and is my preferred method of getting around as it will fit with what I am doing over there.
Is there no Train that goes out there even close ?? (to Rays that is) Failing that I guess I miss going there and will only go to Bonsai South.

You can get there, but i will say it aint easy. There are no trains that go near there, but the following sites might be of use if you have not stumbled upon them already:
http://www.cityrail.info/ - Train timetables and Map of the Network
http://www.131500.com/ - Similar to above but included Govt. Buses
http://www.westbus.com/ - Westbus is the main busline out in the Hills District where Ray Nesci's and the Koreshoff Nurseries are.
Also, if you're travelling around 3:00pm, you will have to contend with plenty of school kids which are in abundance and congest the buses.
Hope this helps you out a little.

many thanks,
There are trains to Pennant Hills and have found a Hills Bus service but they don't seem to run all day. The wife has suggested we rent a car for the day and it may come to that as i know the Visa is going to take a hit no matter where I end up and the boot space will be well used.

Closest train is west pennant hills on the northern line, and still 20 minutes or so from Dural. Ray is another 5 -10 mins on
Taxi could be viable from West pennant hills train station and possibly be cheaper than car
