I wasn't sure where to put this question but here goes. Does anyone know where in Australia I can buy a bonsai watering wand. I can get one from the US but is there anywhere here in Sydney or Australia that the sell them Thanks in advance.

Bunnings have a number of different "soft flow" wands...is that the sort of thing?

Thanks for replying I have one from Bunnings but the one I am looking at is from Maiban Bonsai. It has very small holes the size of a pin. I imagine it would be the same hose fittings in the US as we have here? Made especially for watering bonsai. I may send for it. Thank you

Go to a good garden centre or nursery, they should be able to help. I have a Dram with a small head, excellent for bonsai, but you will pay fair price for one.

Thanks Rod will do. If it is a good one then the price doesn't matter. Saw a great one on a bonsai site when they were watering. They just put the wand into the hose and no fittings. Haven't seen one like it. Thank you

I have a Dram - you can change the heads and they have up to 1000 holes from memory. I bought mine online from Forestry Tools.

I don't know of any locally, but Kaneshin do sell the one that plugs into a hose, they sell a few differetn varieties. Bit pricey... but Kaneshin are top quality

If so was it relatively easy to connect to a hose?

Out of curiosity what does a watering wand do other than fertilizing application that a normal hose can't take care off?

I don't own one myself. as I have the normal attachment that you can select spray and it does a good enough job with hardly any disruption to soil if you hold it back far enough. I set it to have it on mist spray mode. But I could see the slight advantage of having a full on strong fine sprayer. Probably overkill in my opinion, but if you have the money and don't care... why not.

I bought this wand and didn't like it at all. No on and off button and just not worth the money. Went back to Masters and bought another for $30 and much better.

Ok, glad I asked! Might just use buddy man's method with the mist spray....

Yes you can see from the pic's that Jason posted that it has no on /off button so would not be very convenient I would't imagine, I have a dramm fogger that I water my Bonsai and orchids found it very good quality for these days and it has an on/off switch, They used to be made in America but probably chinese now like everything else
