Hi not sure if I missed this but heard advertised a bonsai show is on at Terry Hills NSW this weekend 16 Aug. Anyone know anything about it. Thanks in advance.

Found it. Checkers Resort Conference Terrey Hills. NSW. Worth a look.

Well worth the trip, well not that far for me but my very first show. Wow some nice trees and a couple of very nice natives, I took a few piccies on my phone but have had trouble loading them, sorry.
As a beginner, year 1, what did I learn? I need to improve my patience, wiring skills, pot selection, pebble type, branch selection, moss use, pot size, watering, fertilising, pruning, pinching, cutting, carving and latin. Otherwise I'm all good!
