I first saw Bodhi’s lovely Prunus Dulcis post here and it inspired me to chase these trees…I was lucky enough to get a couple of them from a closing down nursery in Lara about a year ago…

They were on a 25 litre bag and needed to cut into half so it can fit into the boot of my little car

Still on it's early stage and heaps of work needed to develop them into a nice bonsai tree but I’m enjoying the flowers for now...future plans are branch work and a little bit of carving

Flowering bonsai are special as soon as they start flowering, regardless of their developmental stage. Once the other features are developed, they are simply amazing.

This one is a joy to behold.

I agree with Mo - terrific. I too am a lover of the prunus and have a few coming into flower shortly.
Keep at those as they have great promise.
