Possibly a tree with 8 branches bilatterally symmetric and smells fishy.

How about a Serrisa Foetida.

This tree would be perfect, albeit if the pot was 85 times bigger...

Something of Mediterranean origins. Cyprus cedar perhaps. They eat octopus. The Cypriots not the cedar. LOL. It's a lovely pot, Ken!

I am not a fan of banksia I have a starter. Something exotic, and of Mediterranean in origin.
I had a Jade, that I forgot about one winter, no water as it was hidden by a 30 year old Zygo, that I bring all in winter. It survived months without water or light. But it went octopusee on me.
Hardly any trunk but heaps of weeping branches, with hardly any leaves on them. Popped it out in the summer, and more leaves grew. It would go well in this pot, so long as it was on a stand.

Hey Paul
I cannot remember exactly, because I bought it along with other pots.
But I think it was quite expensive maybe around $100.00.
But pots like this don't come around very often.
