Hi. I've been asked to remove a tree from a front lawn, thinking of doing a trunk chop and s

eeing what I can do with it. Anyone tell me what it is and if it's gonna be suitable for bonsai re handle the root prune. Boring straight trunk but maybe I can repot it on an angle and make use of a new leader as it's been a healthy fast growing tree, up till tomorrow anyway!

Picture one, if its ever green could be a privet. I have heaps of them around, I keep cutting them back and they keep popping up again. Don't know what the second one is?

cant tell you what it is but you are bright about the trunk it will take literally years to get some form of shape into that trunk,
and a composite leaf will not (or very rarely) form a smaller version of itself so you may be stuck with that leaf sizwe.
Some things bonsai well, some things don't.
good luck on the attempt though, too hard basket for me

If your going to remove it just have a go.
I'm sure there is something you could learn from the tree from just having a play around with it.
