I would like to introduce few methods of air and ground layering that help create better nebari faster...and some other to get better nebari.
Pictures will tell it all and ask if something is unclear.
Please add on some ideas.

Very cool pictures Neli. Is the last pic a technique for thickening the roots or for aesthetic reasons. I think its amazing! I'm going to try this brother.

Thickening the roots...while keeping the root ball small, for hard to transplant trees...You get other benefits also...trunk and branch rapid growth and thickening.

I got to give it to you. That is a nice setup you have there. Your pots are awesome. Could you possibly give me the name of the style pots you use to train the tree roots. If you dont mind my asking? What country are you in? The landscape looks great.

Hi Neli I seen your blog. Great progress! I like your pots. You should make one with ancient african Cush symbols. I dont know if thats spelled right . Lol. I am going to definately try that. I don't have good training pots but I will soon. I will try your methods with white cement. Which I really like , and I am going to make islands with gritty grey cement for penjing so moss can grow well. Peace Neli

Thank You! You must be careful since moss like more acid environment...You dont really need it gritty for moss. Moss grows even on smooth stones...What I do with stoves is I just paint them with yogurt...and water them...then moss starts growing...but wash with acid first to reduce the PH.
What is Cush? I have no idea...
