New pots

Post by Isitangus »

I recently bought a box of pots as a bulk lots of gumtree-I liked most of the pots and they were very cheap. Got home to have a closer look...whilst I don't have an amazing collection of trees, I am slowly building my collection of pots that catch my eye as they come up-I don't have a preference for Japanese/Chinese etc I just buy what I like-including pots from local potters.

The biggest of them and the main reason I purchased-I love this pot but have no idea what tree would go in it-any suggestions?

not quite a chop.

Have always wanted a pot like this-now to find a tree to go in it!

The only chop I recognise-at least I'm pretty sure it's a Pat Kennedy!

Always happy for suggestion as to what plants forumers suggest for the pots

What a great purchase, I love the handmade pots particularly from our own potters.

Yes that is one of Pat's pots.

Definitely a PK pot.
Looks like a great score to me.
Well done.
One of the fabulous things about growing bonsai is as you get old and decrepit your trees get old and beautiful

Haha I had to learn that one - you can affect the sequence! But you had to play with it a little. ALLWAYS "preview" your post to correct any boo Boos!
Cheers
