Looking for advise on this one as you will tell from a major scar in the back (?) I cut the entire top of this root base and regrew the top over the last four years.
any advise apart from Father Time?
The scars running up the base are an attempt to hide wire scars that were obviously attempting to get movement in the trunk way to late in the trees life (again!, again see the view three and they are still visible, what it has done is fatten the trunk nicely but given me a slight inversion which today I hopefully have fixed with some lower scarring, see views.

Just an update, potted (just a mica training pot), wired down, waiting for leaves.
Just to re-iterate the root structure, roots were wound around the rock then put completely covered back in a larger pot for around three years, then a gradual lifting every potting to allow the roots to weather. Like the top, prune the roots and shape them as you see fit. About four years ago, completely hating the tree that had grown I cut it off near stump level and now this is tree 2. Father time, now its yours for a bit.
