You may be able to tell from the carved piece, this used to be an absolute upright tree, and "yuck". (again sorry, no progression photos)
So again trying out my newly acquired carving tools (done a couple of years ago) I kept the first branch and chopped off the top.
This has altered its arrangement in the pot but this is not its final resting place so its still a trainee, as I am. tidied up a little
