Shohin Ficus and Scoria Rock Pot

This ficus is some variation of the benjamina, I have heard it referred to as "oriental fig" but I can find no reference to that.
it has a natural zig zag method of growth, is very brittle to the point that trying to shape with wire anything that is thicker than a twig is hopeless. In my experience with these they don't shoot back on the old wood as vigorously as other benji's do but do shoot from the cut end of a branch. I have a few of these and will familiarize you with them as I get to them, so this is one I have just done about two months ago.
