Gday Guys,
Just wondering if any Sydneysiders out there would like to put together a full and comprehensive list of Bonsai Nurseries including addresses and contact details.

I'll be up there for a few days in Oct and have made a reservation (with the wife) to spend an entire day, dawn til dusk, driving from nursery to nursery in and around Sydney.

Thanks a lot and look forward to your replies. Of course, any high recommendations are most welcome

That's the good oil! But to extend that list add 3, 4, and 6. And you may get around in one day.

Hey webos
As far as I know, Koreshoffs and Bibo have both shut down

For thos that use Google earth, I have a KMZ file with all the NSW ones Highlighted
Find it here. If you have Google earthe then it will load and show you all the sites
http://www.poolez.com/~ken/files/Bonsai.kmz

If anyone wants to create a KMZ file for the other states I will host it as well. PM me if you have one

Ken

Oriental Bonsai (Mr Song)
457 Victoria Road Rydalmere (Not Ermington) and is on the corner of Gammell Street
02 9684 2928 They prefer Saturdays. Sunday is definitely not a goer

Provence Garden Cafe located at 43 West Parade Eastwood (next to Eastwood Station).

Bonsai at the Bay
6 Streamside St Woollamia 2540. About 20 minutes south of Nowra.
0415609509 or 0244418005.
http://www.bonsaibay.com.au

one mini bonsai nursery in Casula

Riverview Nursery

p: (02) 98744545 f: (02) 98745120
Driveway is on the northern side of victoria rd Between Kissing Point and Marsden roads.

I have been to Padre Pio once quite a while ago (did not know the name until I saw the previous poster) - did not know of its existance until driving along Annangrove Road and saw a Bonsai sign by the roadway.

But have been past several times recently and have not seen the sign.

Anyone know if it still operates ?

As I recall, they had quite a large selection of plants.

With a bougie, you will get that nebari in no time. I have never seen a tree at Rays that i would call a "rip off". Can you post a picture of the said tree?

I would NEVER go to Imperial. Have had bad experiences there. No more to say.
