Sorry to bore you all with another progression but I think they are interesting and I wish more people did it to there trees. Not sure if they are worried about others opinions or what. Others opinions can help your tree as they see it with fresh eyes. Not closed ones like the long time owners who are blinded by the love they have for it. Me included

anyway ive been doing bonsai only for four to five years. I are 32 years old and am a complete novice. Even still posting trees progressions is still fun. Come on lets see your photos. Anyway back to the tree in the progression. Its a Hawthorne that I got about three years ago as a trunk with no shoots. I have since grown a few branches and here are some shots. Enjoy.

Not boring at all, I love seeing progressions. I don't post many because my progressions aren't good enough to show.
Lovely tree. I'm jealous of your autumn colouring.

Nice development in a small pot too
Progressions are wonderful tool to document your own trees, and benefit others too in that can really show the developments steps taken with the tree if the pics are good and detailed enough.
I try to take most of my progression shots against plain backgrounds so that i can see the details myself.

i know looks like it shold lean a little more to the right. Maybe over time. The bottom left branch will also be allowed to grow up eventually. Just did not want it on the same level as the right and back branch.

Nice progression, like this tree, still want to add Hawthorn to collection. Has it flowered?
One comment, something to consider. The top of the tree seems to be away from the front, ideally should be towards the viewer, over time this will only become more obvious. If this were mine, would consider replacing apex with branch below to the right. This would aid with visual impression of growing to the viewer once apex regrows, also helps introduce some movement and taper into the top of the tree.
