Reminds me of a Baobab

when the shoots extend to 3 -4 sets of leaves, Cut back to 2 and the branch will ramify. Develop nice flattish foliage pads by wiring then branches when they lignify.

i purchased some baobab seeds online but none germinated i think due to the humidity here in QLD :(

Did you treat the seeds before planting them? I put mine in boiling water for 10 minutes and let it sit before planting it. The seed took nearly two months to lift its head but then winter struck and has had no movement since
