[ID] Sold as a Mel

Hi everyone,
I purchased this October last year as a Mel from the Bonsai Society of SA show. I've seen another member post her tree which people responded that it may not be what we thought.
It has has a little dieback in a branch, and I really need to ID it to be able to understand why this is happening. I took these quick pics tonight, but can get better ones tomorrow
Hope you can help!
Laurie

Thanks Boics! I think you may be right. I did a Google search and the colouring seems to match. Mine has a real light green tinge particularly to the new growth.

I agree on both counts
Looks like it has a promising future!

Thank you Jason, this is my first Australian native tree, so I have a real soft spot for it.
I'm just letting it grow at the moment, it's already put on a lot of growth since I've had it. I did get a bit of die back in the bottom left branch (you can see the forward facing branch is bare) but other than that it's been great!

I know the feeling, my first native still has a special spot on my bench
