Went on a dig with a mate today and we came back with some really nice material.

Here is the tree I ended up with and it's of decent size.

As for the second tree here is part of the main root we had to cut through.

Very pleased with the days effort and were happy it didn't take the few days we thought it would.

They are rippers Ken.
I got a similar size as the big one a couple of years ago. But it is not that big now. Infact it is two smaller ones after the wood rotted back. It was cut very low to the ground before I got to it so hopefully that does not happen to these.
Great work.

thanks all - we high fived each other about 10 times today, more so out of excitement that the dig wasn't as hard as we anticipated.

The best part is there is still 4 or 5 left at the site to grab but we may leave that for another time.

Cheers,

KHP

Nice mate
Bet you were happy with that one

Like Strawbs, if you need a hand and do not want them yourself, I would be happy to oblige

Very kind sir!

My friend is what I like to call the site owner for these particular tree's, so I'll throw it out there to him - i'm sure you can understand.

If it was up to me, I'd say grab ya gear we are going out next weekend.

Sent a couple of pm's to some people about a decent sized wisteria locally to me, but none replied. As a result I'm throwing it out there that if anyone would liked to know it's location just pm me so you can scope it out for yourselves. It's branches span roughly 40 - 50m along a chain fence line in an abandoned warehouse.

First in best dressed.

p.s council has recently hack it so I'm figuring they'll probably remove it in it's entirety within 12 months.
