Invitation to all.

I am organizing what will hopefully become an annual day for the Bonsai community to come along and buy, sell or trade their Bonsai and anything else Bonsai
related. All are welcome to setup as sellers but numbers are limited, Commercial sellers are very welcome and also encouraged to participate.
This event is not affiliated with any other entity and is expressly held for the Bonsai community at large. The event will be held at the corner of Lyon and Grigor streets
Moffat beach, Sunshine Coast on May 9th. It will be held in a large fully sealed and fenced space available for our use. Interest has been received from many experienced enthusiasts
wishing to reduce the number of their trees so there will be some quality materials available. Potting mixes, wire and pots will all be available on the day.
It is a condition of selling at this event that it must be Bonsai and Bonsai related goods only.

Good idea. I can't justify the drive to Sydney for the Ausbonsai one, but 3 hours to the Sunny Coast is easily done. Will start saving my now

Sorry your having trouble with the Facebook page, it works for me okay so I'm not sure how to help mate.

12 sellers committed so far....

Lots of interest so far with some really good quality material being offered up for sale.

Still 7 weeks or so out and we have 20 registered sellers, a few clubs considering bus trips and lots of interest from buyers. Lots of very experienced people registered to sell with good quality materials. Shaping up to be a really fun day!

Do you have many potters on the seller list yet?

We have 2 potters and one other selling imported high quality Japanese pots Davemc.

Only a tad more than 5 weeks to go now! About 25 confirmed sellers and the books are closed. Some really experienced people registered to sell with some great material for sale.

I will still take names for a reserve sellers list but for now, we are full. I hoped to get 12 - 15 sellers so am really happy with responses. Looking forward to the 9th of May. Gates open to the public at 9am and close at 2pm or thereabouts.

Hope all goes well for the day. Queensland needs more opportunities for our growing number of enthusiasts. I can't make it but hope it goes well.

OK so this is on next weekend - who is going ? Perhaps we can meet up just inside the front gate at 9.30 after we have all scored a bargain ?
