Eucalyptus pauciflora seedlings can be purchased quite commonly from state forest nurseries and retail nurseries. I have purchased a few myself previously.

well... the new shoots of all E. Pauciflora are red regardless of the season. Beautiful red colours of the trunks anyway.

Hi Jarrod , cuttings wouldn't be worth taking I think they would be difficult to strike ,seed on the other hand I have found grows easily . The seed wasn't ready when I was there the other day .
BB there is quite a lot of different sub species of the Snowgum the ones growing up near charlottes are called Eucalyptus pauciflora niphophila . Niphophila I was told means snow loving or something like that . The new growth on the niphophila is actually a light green color and there's one that grows on the tumut side of the mountains that has lime green new growth . The ones that grow at my place have red stem new growth . There is one that grows out towards adaminaby that is a weeping form unfortunately every time in am out that way there is no seed on the trees .
Alan thanks for adding the snow shots the winter colors can be amazing . The only photos I have of the gums in winter have skiers in front of them . One of the reasons for the reds and purple color could be sun burn from the reflection off the snow . My local local trees don't color up as much .

There is no such thing as snow in Hedland! Loads of humidity and 40+ degrees at this time of the year ... but they would look magic - they do look magic!
