This was cut just over 8 weeks ago, and the healing process on this Allocasuarina Torulosa is just amazing. I have never seen anything like it. The initial cut was the same thickness of the end of my finger.

It has almost completely healed over.

Do you think this a trait of the species, or have you been trying out a new miracle heeling goop?

Haha, I have cut many branches off torulosa before, and it has taken many years for something this size to come even close, this is simply something I've never seen before. I did not apply anything over it, nor did I do anything differently.

Funny you say this BBM.

I've cut my Torolusa's a number of times and some have healed well and quick - whilst others have floundered.
Something to keep an eye on.

I seem to recall not using any cut paste on one and it healed really well?
Do you not use cut paste on any of yours? Anyone else have any experiences to share?

No I don't use cut paste on mine. As Grant puts it.... mine go Rambo.

It was repotted in November, produced some new shoots after the repot and then this cut was made just after the start of the new year, which consequently has almost healed over after 2 months.
