Acquired some trees from Ray Nesci today and I bought a Trident Maple 'Nesci Sparky' starter, Deshojo Maple starter, Taiwan Maple starter, Sargent Juniper starter and Liquidambar.
I would like to know pest and diseases for Liquidambar. Haven't found 1 in the forum regarding a particular pest/disease, mainly under the leaf.

Could be some sort of scale insect? They make these hard shells as protection while they suck the sap of the plant. Different sorts have different coloured shells.

Systemic insecticide or oil spray are the best ways of dealing with them if that is what it is.

I think it's out of line to bring the place of purchase into discussion. If you were to go back to said place, I think you would be helped considerably to remedy the problem and also understand/prevent it. To assist with identification and solution, the place of purchase is irrelevant.

Apologies if I sound rude, I believe there is an etiquette to be acknowledged here.

They were hard but came off quite easily, some had to use abit of force to get them off and they were also on the trunk as well. LA wouldn't have scales by any chance?
