When I first got this pot I asked on the now defunct Bonsai Talk about this pot, a couple of people gave me to understand it was made by a famous Japanese potter .
Not being a collector as such I did not keep the name. So if any one reading this knows of the potter, please could they enlighten us.
Regards Pup :)

Hi Pup... It's from a humble little town in Japan by the name of Tokoname. It was made by a fella by the name of Mr. Masuo Matsushita who works out of a pottery called Izumi-Ya.

Do I win the pot??

Thank Webos now you have shown me the list I remember and I did the same when I posted it originally. So it did cause some confusion but as I said someone there picked up on it and yes. It is what you say. I have had 3 pms on it so. It looks like it is worth what I was told maybe!!.

I have three offers firm by Pm but it is still there to be bought.
I promised one of them I would not sell it before he got back to me. So make an offer you think will get it. :)

A nice pot, but difficult to find a tree to fit it. Would be better as a collectors item until a tree worthy of the pot is found.

Agreed Asus,

Such a great pot deserves the right tree to be put into it.....here here :!: :!: :!:
